On December 7th, ATISA unveiled DORADA, the newest in a string of Class A industrial buildings. Dorada is ATISA\u2019s second largest building project this year (after the gargantuan Diamante building) and the last to be completed of ATISA\u2019s ambitious 2018 building schedule.\u00a0\u00a0 It has 86,214 square feet of leasable space and sits on a 156,733 square foot lot.\u00a0 It\u2019s clear height is 28 feet and it has 6 dock doors. As is true with all Atisa buildings, modifications can tailor the building to just about any operation.<\/p>\n
The ribbon was cut by Rafael Omar Carrillo and the construction team. Visitors from NAI Mexico, Tecma, Corporativo Arag\u00f3n, PCM Corporativo, Omega Capital and BRP attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony, and participated in a chance to win an iPad, Google home speakers, and 2 bottles of fine wine from nearby Magoni Vineyards in Ensenada. Tijuana has grown exponentially and has generated many investment opportunities in the last few years.\u00a0 Our lovely city is #1 in North America regarding the generation of job positions in the medical device production sector, and has more aerospace and defense companies than any other city in Mexico. An amazing 21% of Tijuana\u2019s college graduates are engineers, the majority of them with degrees in aerospace, automotive, medical, and electronics. Pay\u00e1n filled us in on\u00a0 CONACYT (which promotes Science and Technology) and PROSOFT (which supports the development of software companies).<\/p>\n Pay\u00e1n\u2019s goal is to boost the primary clusters in this city, and help them function at their full potential. He makes it easier for investors to get the necessary requirements to open a company in Tijuana. He talked about the municipal funds that are going towards equipment acquisition, which will in turn impulse self-employment, small companies, entrepreneurs, and strategic projects.<\/p>\n Rick Chatham, ATISA\u2019s Director of Sales and Marketing, shared the stage with Ana Del Real, as they recounted the thrilling history of ATISA Industrial, as well as its bright future as the premier industrial real estate broker in Tijuana and Northern Baja Mexico. As of 2015, Atisa\u2019s industrial real estate division had constructed over 1,600 acres of industrial land and built over 200 buildings including more than 25,000,000 square feet of industrial space.
