The maquiladora industry has become a characteristic element in the border region of Northern Mexico. These accelerated changes in activities have benefited the growth of the population, suppliers, trade, and services.

Thanks to industrial development, Grupo Atisa was born in 1970 becoming one of Mexico’s largest developers. During the years, Grupo Atisa has worked with more than 300 companies, most of which have international prestige. Some of the companies are Sohnen, Encore, Zodiac Aerospace and Muramoto.

Atisa has developed industrial buildings in the most important industrial parks in the northern area of Baja California. Some of the parks are Parque Industrial Pacifico, Parque Industrial El Ruby, Parque Industrial Morelos and Ciudad Industrial Otay. In addition, they have built and developed more than 1,500 acres for large companies.

Atisa was the first developer to implement the Tilt-up method in its buildings in Mexico. They currently construct all their buildings using this method. We found that it’s more economical and resistant than using blocks.
