Local Industry records a growth in job creation

It’s was referred that with the arrival of major industries to the region a greater benefit for the sector will be achieved, especially for Baja California. The association of more than 200 companies, mentions that along with the development of new places, the rising dollar against the peso has positioned Baja California, Tijuana mainly, at a favorable point to foreign investment companies. In this sense there has been a development for the purchasing power of industries, up to 20% to 25% a quarter more than in years past. This has resulted in an increase in employees’ salaries of between 4% and 6%.

ARHITAC mentions that they will apply a survey among industries that wish to participate voluntarily, to have a record of wages and salaries in manufacturing and thus reach a standard that benefits the population of Baja California.
