New investment on the Aerospace Industry
EnCore International in Pacífico Industrial Park
Tijuana, Baja California.- Executives from EnCore International, the company responsible for new investments in the aerospace industry in the region, arrived for a visit on October 2nd.
A few months ago, ATISA Group and EnCore International signed a contract for the construction of a “Built to Suit” (custom-designed) building of approximately 100,000 square feet. This was built using the Tilt-Up construction method which, by default, complies with many strenuous aerospace industry standards. The site is located in Parque Industrial Pacífico (Pacífico Industrial Park), where over 55 industries –including aerospace- are currently operating.
A tour of the facilities of the construction site for this new building was performed under the direction of Rafael Carrillo, president of the ATISA Group, and Raúl Pérez, VicePresident and General Manager of this new aerospace project in Tijuana.
The VicePresident of EnCore expressed his gratitude and underlined the professionalism of ATISA Industrial. “I want to thank all the personnel that is involved in the construction of the Industrial building for their valuable effort to make this project possible. ATISA Industrial has demonstrated their high quality and customer service in our project.“ expressed Raul Perez.
Baja California is one of the Mexican states that specializes in the aerospace industry and holds the largest aerospace community in the country. It also has the advantage of counting with the most skilled labor in this field.
EnCore International is scheduled to begin operations by the end of October, and will create 50 white collar jobs just during this first phase, which is expected to at least double by the following year.
Upon completing the tour, Raúl Pérez took a series of photographs, highlighting the stupendous view from the building, from which the Bay of San Diego can be admired.
