Textile Industry expands in Tijuana
Recently Atisa Industrial concluded the lease of building at Ciudad Industrial Otay with approximately 50 thousand square feet on a building with an option to increase to 65 thousand located in one of the best industrial zones in Tijuana. Bekaert Textiles is a world-famous company founded in Belgium in the year 1892, dedicated to the production of stylish and smart textiles for mattresses, and has seen an impressive growth throughout the years.
The President of the group, Todd Schmidt, along with Facility Manager Gabriel Merino and his team were received by the President of Atisa Group Rafael Carrillo for the event.
Over a cup of coffee, Merino commented that this expansion at the end of the year comes as the result of the growth of the company, which demands more space, better logistics, and a higher number of personnel across all departments. ¨We are so excited for this change; it represents an increase in production and a better logistic to export our products. We thank to Atisa Group for the facilities that give us to accomplish our goal growth and expansion in Tijuana¨ expressed Gabriel Merino.
As well as a reengineering this contemplates a showroom at the location for demonstrating products to their clients.
“We are thrilled to be part of this growth, which benefits us all; we know that the expansion of company will drive a lot more business toward Tijuana, and I thank Bekaert Textiles for the trust they deposited in us,” Pablo Rafael Carrillo Barron said.
We are proud to be doing business with such world-famous clients. Bekaert Textiles is expected to begin operations by the end of November.
