Tijuana will host the XLIII National Convention INDEX 2016 from November 16th to the 18th, there will be workshops and conferences related to industrial theme.

Merida and Cancun competed with Tijuana to host this convention, however, thanks to the support of the State Government and the Committee of Tourism and Conventions of Tijuana (Cotuco), Tijuana was chosen to host the XLIII edition of the National Convention INDEX.

Some of the conferences will be Leadership between Two Worlds: Mexico – USA as Allies Economic Rosario Marin; Border optimization under Customs XXI century; Innovation and new technologies applied to Manufacturing 4.0. There will also be workshops: Manufacturing in Mexico, the North American Competitiveness and Need for TPP; Innovation and Technology Industry Export; Increasing local content of the Mexican industry and the role of Mexico and Industry in the 2020 Mega Regions.
